Academy for the Built Environment
At ULI NWA, we acknowledge that our industries, broadly speaking, are not proportionally representative of the diverse communities they serve. We recognize that without greater diversity in our industries’ leader networks, the built environment of Northwest Arkansas will never fully reflect in parity the rich diversity found within our communities. We believe that only through this parity can Northwest Arkansas achieve inclusive growth within its cities that offer a sense of belonging to all while enhancing our region’s economic and cultural vibrancy.
The purpose of the Academy for the Built Environment is to create the next generation of diverse leaders who will occupy positions of influence in the real estate development and land use management industries of Northwest Arkansas. This is an effort to better guarantee that our built environments represent and work for everyone.
Leveraging the power of equity through education, ULI NWA will strive to ensure that every resident who desires a career in the industries we serve has access to opportunities and feels welcomed and represented within them.
