Housing affordability throughout the U.S. has once again become an increasing concern as demand has bounced back following the Great Recession in both urban and suburban areas. A largely untold chapter in the story of America’s housing affordability challenge is the shrinking share of modestly-priced, newly-constructed, for-sale homes—what ULI calls “attainable housing.”

During each Wednesday in May, ULI NWA will host a one-hour digital event to explore the topic of attainability more deeply. Over the four-week series, we will reveal supply and demand trends, emerging housing types, a case study, and a roundtable discussion about the future of middle-class housing affordability in NWA.

Join us on May 20th at 10a as we take a virtual walk through Willow Bend, a nine-acre residential development by Partners for Better Housing that is currently under construction in Fayetteville. Learn how Willow Bend aligns to many of the principles discussed in Parts One and Two of this Attainable Housing Series, as well as the design, planning, and financing lessons this development team learned along the way that informed their ability to build attainably.

Free to ULI Members and non-members. Registration required.
