    Join us for presentations on transportation issues and alternative transportation ideas. We will hear from Evan Stair, President of Passenger Rail Oklahoma and from Beth Holbrook with UTA. Evan is leading efforts to expand passenger rail in Oklahoma and Kansas, and Beth has been involved heavily in implementing light rail and other transportation systems in the Salt Lake City area.

    Beth Holbrook

    Trustee, Utah Transit Authority

    Trustee Holbrook brings a wealth of experience to UTA. She began her career in the financial sector, established a real estate firm in 2002 and in 2010 went to work for Zion’s Bank as the Director of the Business Resource Center in Salt Lake City. Trustee Holbrook would go on to become the Public Sector Solutions Manager for Waste Management of Utah. Trustee Holbrook was first elected to the Bountiful City Council in 2007 and has served on several boards including the Bountiful Power Commission, Planning Commission and the Utility Facility Review Board. She is the outgoing President of the Utah League of Cities and Towns; having served there since 2011. Trustee Holbrook joined the Utah Transit Authority on November 1, 2018.

    Cody Brandt

    Cody has received a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University and a Master in Real Estate from Georgetown University. He has also worked in the commercial real estate industry for the past ten years for two Fortune 500 companies (CBRE and JLL) within their research and economics groups and most recently for the previous four years as an appraiser who focused on multifamily properties. He has appraised over 500 assets in Texas and Oklahoma with an aggregate value of over $5 billion and has a wide range of knowledge in various markets and commercial real estate property types.
