Roundtable Series

The Roundtable Series strengthens regional collaboration through a learning network of planners, engineers, and public officials. Monthly sessions provide space to share ideas, discuss local challenges, and exchange best practices that improve planning across the region.
Each conversation builds understanding, expands professional relationships, and reinforces a culture of cooperation among those guiding Northwest Arkansas’s growth.
Roundtable Series - Eligibility
All city and county staff in Benton and Washington Counties with a role in planning, engineering, public works, or development services are invited to participate. There is no cost to join, and membership will be open and nonexclusive.
Roundtable Series - Program Workflow
This group will meet monthly, with content focused on high-impact challenges such as comprehensive planning, code administration, systems and process review, civic engagement, infrastructure coordination, interdepartmental collaboration, and working with developers.
Sessions will be peer-led, with ULI NWA providing facilitation support, event management, and technical content development. Case studies and success stories from within the region will be prioritized to ensure relevance. This is designed to build collegiality and trust among local staff—helping to reduce isolation, encourage resource sharing, and coordinate across jurisdictional boundaries.
ULI will apply for AICP and other continuing education credits for sessions, facilitate access to national ULI resources, and provide content experts from its membership network when appropriate.
