The Leadership Exchange maintains strong ties with past Plan Local (and Small Cities Initiative) participants by supporting ongoing implementation and leadership development. The program brings together mayors, city administrators, and senior staff from across Northwest Arkansas for structured peer learning, reflection, and collaboration. 

Through semi-annual convenings, participants share implementation progress, discuss common challenges, and learn from one another’s experiences. Each gathering includes facilitated discussions and executive coaching sessions led by certified professionals who help leaders refine the skills and confidence needed to navigate growth and change. 

The Leadership Exchange strengthens long-term partnerships among local leaders and ensures that planning momentum continues well beyond the completion of each community’s plan.
