ULI Northwest Arkansas Launches Plan Local
ULI NWA is evolving the Small Cities Initiative into Plan Local, a new program helping communities plan for intentional growth.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating the incredible progress we’ve made together. With your help, we’re ensuring that great places remain at the heart of our region’s growth. Your involvement has shaped meaningful programs and continues to guide how we evolve and strengthen the place we all call home.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited for everything that’s coming up. If ULI NWA has been part of your year, we invite you to make a gift that fuels our mission and helps us create even stronger communities.
We work hard to continuously evolve our programs, events, and learning opportunities to further connect our community.

The UrbanPlan program extended its impact by facilitating sessions across eight different groups (schools, municipalities, non-profits, etc.) and engaged 125 volunteers to support ongoing education around thoughtful city development.
At our 4th annual Place Summit, we welcomed attendees from across the region to learn from one another and strengthen our community. Keynote speaker Gregg Colburn shared valuable insight into our affordable housing challenges, and by offering a standalone ticket for his session, we were able to open that learning opportunity to even more community members.
